A Policy Council for Nevada's Industrial Transformation

The Bedrock Coalition is a Wyoming-incorporated 501(c)(6) trade association dedicated to advancing industrial policy, advanced manufacturing, and supply chain sovereignty in Nevada. Operating as a lean, member-driven policy council, Bedrock synthesizes state economic development initiatives, corridor planning, workforce training programs, and federal industrial policy instruments into evidence-based insight for manufacturers, defense and aerospace contractors, workforce partners, and investors.

Nevada's economy is undergoing a profound industrial transition, with rapid growth in information technology, advanced manufacturing, and logistics, strategic investments in battery recycling and critical minerals, and major corridor initiatives such as Interstate 11 and the I-15 manufacturing arc. The Governor's Office of Economic Development (GOED) reports 52 percent job growth in information technology, 24 percent in advanced manufacturing, and 30 percent in logistics since 2020.

The Coalition exists to help stakeholders navigate this transformation by interpreting programs like the CHIPS and Science Act, the Inflation Reduction Act, the Infrastructure Investment and Jobs Act, and Buy America domestic content requirements through a Nevada lens, while engaging with federal agencies on topics such as Great Corridors of Commerce and supply chain visibility.

Bedrock's mission is to provide grounded, non-partisan analysis and convening that enable Nevada-based and Nevada-focused industrial actors to make informed decisions about site selection, investment, workforce alignment, and policy engagement. Rather than replicating the roles of economic development agencies like LVGEA or broad business chambers like the Nevada Manufacturers Association, the Coalition focuses on industrial policy depth, B2B relationship building, and curated public comments that reflect the real constraints and opportunities facing the Las Vegas manufacturing corridor and the state's wider industrial ecosystem.

What We Are Not

Bedrock is not a general-purpose chamber of commerce, not a tourism promotion board, and not an economic development agency. We do not provide direct consulting, lobbying services, or incentives. We are a lean trade association that focuses on depth of analysis and targeted network convening for a constituency of advanced manufacturers, defense contractors, and industrial investors operating in or evaluating Nevada.

How We Complement the Ecosystem

We work alongside, not in competition with, institutions like GOED, the Las Vegas Global Economic Alliance, the Nevada Manufacturers Association, and the Nevada Battery Coalition. Each serves a distinct function in Nevada's industrial ecosystem. Bedrock adds a layer of federal policy interpretation and supply chain analysis that these organizations are not positioned to provide, particularly for investors and high-complexity manufacturers evaluating Nevada for capital-intensive operations.
